At Rodrigues Quality Basket, customer satisfaction is our priority. We are committed to delivering fresh, high-quality local produce, herbs, spices, and Rodriguan products. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, this Returns & Refund Policy outlines your rights and our procedures.


1. Fresh Produce & Perishable Goods

Due to the nature of fresh and perishable products:

  • Returns are generally not accepted once products have been delivered.
  • If your order arrives damaged, spoiled, incorrect, or incomplete, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Valid claims may qualify for:
    • Replacement of the affected product(s)
    • Store credit
    • Partial or full refund, depending on the issue

To report an issue, customers may be required to provide:

  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographic evidence where applicable

2. Non-Perishable Products

For non-perishable local products (e.g., packaged spices, artisanal goods, souvenirs):

  • Returns may be accepted within 7 days of delivery
  • Items must be:
    • Unused
    • Unopened
    • In original packaging
    • In resaleable condition

Return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless the product was delivered damaged or incorrectly.


3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be approved under the following conditions:

  • Product delivered is significantly damaged or defective
  • Incorrect item delivered
  • Missing items from confirmed order
  • Delivery failure caused by our service

Refunds will generally not be issued for:

  • Minor variations in size, color, or natural appearance of produce
  • Customer dissatisfaction based on personal taste preferences
  • Delays caused by inaccurate delivery details provided by the customer
  • Orders canceled after dispatch

4. Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled free of charge before preparation or dispatch
  • Once an order is being prepared or dispatched, cancellation may not be possible
  • Special custom orders may be non-refundable

5. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method whenever possible.

Refund processing times:

  • Card or online payments: 5–10 business days
  • Bank transfers: 3–7 business days
  • Store credit: May be issued immediately

6. Delivery Issues

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Customer unavailability
  • Restricted accommodation access

Additional delivery charges may apply, and refunds may be limited.
